I went out with some co-workers with a chartered offshore boat out of St. Augustine.  It was only a 6 hour or so trip, so we didn't have the time to visit the gulf stream.  We dd have a good time though!!  We caught about 7 amberjacks, a few seabass, vermillion snapper, and a red snapper.  Broke a few off too unfortunately.  Here is a shot of one the amberjacks and yours truly.

I wouldn't mind a shot at AJ's on the fly rod. They look like a very strong fish...almost tuna like and certainly jack-like!

Yeah I definitely want to do more fly fishing offshore, but don't have many opportunities to do so.
