Well, gents...they are dead easy as it turns out. It takes a 1/0 hook for the 7/8" tan "crab coins" (which are sticky backed), some extra small black dumb bell eyes, some Puglisi crab claws, Puglisi crab and shrimp eyes and sili-legs...in this case fire tipped pumpkin. Hook in vise, spiral thread from eye down onto start of hook bend, far enough so that the crab coin will fit on the hook. Secure dumb bell eyes, spiral 1/3 of way towards eye. Attach first crab eye here...choose a sexy angle off the side of the hook( slanted backwards), sticking out far enough to clear the coin, and secure with figure 8 wraps, DO NOT cut off excess yet. Spiral forward another 1/3 of the hook shank and do the other eye but pointing forwards. NOw fold the eye butts against the hook shank, the aft one forward and forward one aft as they naturally want to go and cover with thread wraps between the 2 eyes (middle third of the hook shank), cut off excess. The eyes are now quite secure. Take the claws and secure them midway between the eyes, same side of the hook, spiral thread fore and aft so that the claws stick out outside of the 2 eyes. Turn the hook upside down, since this is how it will ride in the water, and attach 4-6 (however many you want) sili-legs in the middle of the hook right on top separating the legs on either side of the hook. Tie off the thread and snip it, middle front, doesn't matter. Now smear some super glue (I used the gel type) top and bottom and put the coin on the top of the hook, just behind the eye. Quick flip the fly over, distribute the legs as you want them and stick the other coin on top, firmly pressing them together, trim legs to your desired length and it's done. Much easier to do than to describe. I can tie 3 in the time it took me to type this. Innovate and substitute as you wish which is how these came about. Hope I didn't leave anything important out
