I took my dad out this morning around 9am to fish in the incoming tide. My other friend was out a tad earlier and seeing fish on the flats. For whatever reason, my dad doesn't think flats produce fish. He would rather fish deeper water

So, we tried some spots within Pablo Creek on the long rod and some shrimp on the bottom too. I ran into my friend later and he caught 3 nice slot reds!

So, he gave me details where and the tide came back in. So, we went to his spots and NADA. Then....My dad asked "You hungry at all. I brought two bananas!" arrgghhhh I have probably covered this issue with him about 10 times now. However, I did have a nice time out with my dad, so it was still a great trip.

The bananas strike again!!! NO FISH! I am going out tomorrow to redeem myself!

get shallow man, and try to fish middle of the day low tides. The fish will eat.

Yeah, i thought bananas were ridiculous! The next day was a tad bit more!
