www.autismfishing.com The 1st Annual Julian A. Guas Fun Fishing Tournament will be held at Homestead Bayfront Park & Marina located at 9698 SW 328 Street in Homestead, Florida on April 24, 2010. This is a non-profit inshore/offshore fun fishing tournament which will benefit the Autism Society of Miami-Dade. My goal, together with Autism Society of Miami-
Dade, is to create a “Day of Fishing” program for children with autism. My son Julian was diagnosed with autism 7 years ago and fishing has given us a way to connect and enjoy time together. If I can reach one child and to help them enjoy this sport then my goal will be accomplished. Every child that attends the Autism Society of Miami’s “Day of Fishing” will be given their own fishing rod. Our Little Fishers along with their parents and siblings
will enjoy a day together and learn about how to use a fishing rod and fun fishing facts.
